Gigs 'n Reviews

In early 2008 I had a sudden urge to look on the job site Seek. Within twenty minutes I found an ad from Orble seeking music bloggers. To apply you had to submit three articles so I did just that. I think three days later Orble contacted me offering my own domain! I was ecstatic and even through I'm aware it's not a "real" job, I approach it as one. With Google Adsense I receive a tiny revenue if people click on the ads which appear on www.gigsnreviews.com.

This year I started a Myspace page for Gigs 'n Reviews to reach more people. Now I'm doing a feature called Gigs 'n Reviews' Weekly Myspace Discovery. This is where I write a small(ish) article on a band or group I have discovered on Myspace. I'm looking forward to interviewing bands and artists in the future, so if you're keen to get FREE publicity, please add Gigs 'n Reviews as a friend at http://www.myspace.com/gigsnreviews.

Thinking Out Loud

Following the principle on Adsense and furthermore wanting to get my poetry out into the world I started a poetry blog at Orble. I named the blog after my first poetry anthology Thinking Out Loud.
